CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball closed out the Campbellsville University Classic with a 92-77 victory over Brewton-Parker Saturday at the Powell Athletic Center.
With the victory, the Blue Raiders improve to 6-0 on the young season. Lindsey Wilson shot 51.4 percent from the field and have shot 50 percent or better from the field in all six games this season.
Kenyata Carbon came out on fire and finished the game with an impressive 30 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists making it his first double-double of the season. Julian Cunnigham followed his performance with a 22 points, eight assists and five rebounds.. This marks his fifth 20 point game this season. Daivel Jackson shot a fantastic 8-9 from the field scoring 16 points and grabbing 4 rebounds.
Lindsey Wilson shot 48 percent (12-of-25) from beyond the arc in the win. To go along with the strong three-point shooting, the Blue Raiders owned the paint recording 42 points.. They extended their lead by 19 points at the 8:19 mark in the 2nd half and continued to roll as the game progressed.
The Blue Raiders will be back Wednesday, November 13 at 5 p.m CST as they take on Lee University in an exhibition game in Cleveland, Tennessee.
