COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team heads to Owensboro, Kentucky Thursday to take on Brescia at 5:30 p.m. CT at The Moore Center.

The Blue Raiders (10-3) are looking to bounce back after a 77-67 loss to Union (Ky.) on Dec. 14. Daivel Jackson had a team-high 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting in the loss and had nine rebounds. Julian Cunningham added 15 points while Jhordon Mumford had 11 points and nine rebounds.

Entering play on Thursday, the Blue Raiders are averaging 88.6 points per game and are allowing 70.1. Lindsey Wilson shoots 50.1 percent from the field and are limiting opponents to a 39.8 percentage. Jackson leads the Mid-South Conference shooting 70.5 percent from the field. Cunningham ranks fourth in the MSC averaging 17.6 points per game while Kenyata Carbon is fifth averaging 16.9. Mumford is third in the conference shooting 44.4 percent from three while Barrett Burchyett is fourth shooting 43.6.

Brescia is 2-6 after losing to Ohio Christian 93-76 on Tuesday at home. Damian Garcia led the Bearcats with 25 points going 8-of-16 from the field and 7-of-11 from the charity stripe. Gonzalo Luque added 15 points while Linkin Lockhart had 13. Brescia averages 72.5 points per game and is allowing 80. Garcia ranks third in the NAIA averaging 24.45 points per game.
