COLUMBIA, Ky. - The 2024 Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals get underway on Saturday at Bowling Green Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  The Lindsey Wilson College men's basketball team is gearing up for a pivotal postseason clash against Campbellsville University, both teams are set to renew their rivalry in a high-stakes matchup that promises intense competition.

The Blue Raiders (15-12) (6-6 MSC) enter the tournament with a solid overall record and a determination to bounce back from their recent loss against Freed-Hardeman. Despite the setback, key players like Bryce Brown, who delivered an impressive 28-point, 10-rebound double-double in the last game, and Kenyata Carbon, contributing 17 points and five rebounds, remain crucial components of Lindsey Wilson's offensive prowess.

Both players were recognized with First-Team All-Mid-South selections and Carbon as the Freshman of the Year.It is the first time since the 2018-19 season that the Blue Raiders land multiple all-conference honorees and the 13th time in program history. As for Carbon's individual accolade, the Owensboro, Kentucky native becomes the third men's basketball player from Lindsey Wilson to be tabbed Freshman of the Year, joining Bryan Wallace (2014-15) and Kalen Kimberland (2009-10).

The Blue Raiders and Tigers split the regular season series with each team winning at home. Campbellsville won the first matchup 68-59 while Lindsey Wilson won the second meeting 103-94 at Biggers Sports Center to claim the latest win in the "Battle of Highway 55." The Blue Raiders will look to draw inspiration from that win as they enter the postseason with a clear goal of advancing to the Mid-South Conference Tournament Semifinals.
Saturday's game tips off at 2:30 p.m. CST and will be broadcast live on the Mid-South Conference Sports Network. Live audio will also be available through the Lindsey Wilson Sports Network. Tickets can be purchased from the Mid-South Conference website.
