BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team swept Freed-Hardeman 4-0 in the first round of the Mid-South Conference tournament on Thursday.
The Blue Raiders took the double point with Anatoliy Voloshyn and Jaume Barcelo taking the first match on a win by forfeit. Lucas Marques and Aldo Randazzo secured the point with a 6-1 win on court two, leaving Jan Silhavy and Miquel Perez's match unfinished.
In singles, Lindsey Wilson clinched the match by winning their first three matches to secure the four points. On court six, Randazzo notched the first point due to a win by forfeit. Marques finished second on court four with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Brayden Smith. Voloshyn locked in the clinch with a 6-0, 6-0 win on court five over Grant Turner.
The Blue Raiders will play at 6 p.m. CST tomorrow in the semifinals against Cumberland (Tenn). The match will take place at Buchanon Park in Bowling Green.
