BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf is tied for second following the first round of the Mid-South Conference Men's Golf Championship Monday at Bowling Green Country Club.
The Blue Raiders carded a 4-over par 292 on the par-72 6,737 yard course. Lindsey Wilson is tied with Bethel (Tenn.) and sits three shots behind tournament leader Cumberlands (Ky.). The Blue Raiders posted the second-best score on par5 going 7-under and carded the second-most birdies with 18.
Callum Waugh sits tied for first after shooting a 2-under par 70. Waugh is tied with Cumberlands' William Ekeroth and Bethel's Wyatt James. He recorded the most birdies in the round with six and leads in par 4 scoring at -2.
Toby White is tied for fourth with a 71 and carded four birdies in the round.
Milan Reed carded a 75 and sits tied for 16th while
Rio Saigal and
Rafe Blankenship round out the Blue Raider scoring tied for 21st with a 76.
The Blue Raiders return to the course for the second round at 8 a.m. CT Tuesday at Bowling Green Country Club.
