COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 25-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team hits the road this weekend to face No. 3 Bethel (Ind.) at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday at Morey Field.

The Blue Raiders (1-3-2) are coming off a 1-0 loss to Northwestern Ohio, marking their third defeat of the season. Lindsey Wilson finds itself in a similar situation to the start of their 2022 season, when they also held a 1-3-2 record after six games. That year, they went on to lose two more matches before securing their second win but still managed to reach the semifinals of the NAIA National Tournament, including an upset over then-No. 1 Dalton State (Ga.) in the quarterfinals.

Bethel (5-0-2) enters the match unbeaten, having already faced three ranked opponents. The Pilots won their most recent game 2-0 at home against Judson (Ill.), with forward Piero Sabroso scoring both goals and Jona Toussaint providing assists on both, showcasing their strong chemistry. Sabroso leads the team with six goals this season.

Historically, Lindsey Wilson has dominated the head-to-head series with an 8-1 advantage. Their most recent meeting ended in a 3-0 victory for the Blue Raiders in September 2023, also in Indiana.
