COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team will make a brief non-conference detour on Wednesday evening when Midway (Ky.) comes to Biggers Sports Center for an in-state match-up.

The Blue Raiders have won 50 consecutive non-conference home matches, dating back to 2013, and are actively riding a seven-match winning streak overall and at home.

Midway, on the other hand, has won back-to-back road contests as the Eagles prepare to visit Columbia for the first time since 2008.

Senior right side hitter Aubry Koester paces the Midway lineup with 135 kills and a 0.211 hitting percentage. She recently posted 15 kills and 16 digs in a win at Indiana-Purdue Columbus on September 20 and has hit for 10 or more kills in all but one match this season. Koester also leads the Eagles for total digs and ranks second for total blocks.

On their home floor in 2024, the Blue Raiders are outhitting opponents 0.235 to 0.169 and averaging three more kills per set.

Savanah Pippin is boasting a 0.329 attack percentage at home and is up 0.302 for her career overall, giving her the eighth-highest career hit percentage in program history.

Mid-South Conference Setter of the Week Luiza Goncalves has recorded double-doubles in each of the last two home matches and is hitting 0.275 with 13 kills and 13 service aces across the Blue Raiders five home bouts, so far.

All-time, Lindey Wilson is 8-2 against Midway, including each of the last seven.
