COLUMBIA, Ky. — The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team is set to play Union Commonwealth University (Ky.) with kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m. CT. on September 28 in Barbourville, Ky. 

After a narrow 2-1 loss against Bethel on Wednesday, Lindsey Wilson will be looking to bounce back and sharpen their offensive strategies. Silvia Marchesi, who scored the team's only goal last match, will be a key player to watch. Her ability to find the finish through at the goal will be something that Union will have to be on the lookout for. 

On the other side, the Bulldogs are riding high after a solid 3-1 victory over Kentucky Christian also this past Wednesday. Alberta Yirenkyi has been a standout performer for Union, leading the team with six goals this season. Her offensive skill will pose a significant challenge for Lindsey Wilson's defense, which will need to remain strong to limit her scoring opportunities.

For Lindsey Wilson to secure a win, they must focus on enhancing their offensive game and creating more scoring chances. Marchesi's recent goal could provide her with the momentum needed to lead her team forward.
