COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team's non-conference schedule continues this week with a three-day, three-match slate against opponents from three different states.

Since opening the 2024 season at 1-3, the Blue Raiders have won four of their last five matches. During this five-game turnaround, Lindsey Wilson is outhitting its opponents .235 to .040 with nearly 100 more total kills.

Senior Savanah Pippin, who became the 32nd player in program history to reach 500 career kills last Wednesday versus Brescia (Ky.), boasts a .346 attack percentage over her last five appearances and has recorded double-digits in kills twice. She also ranks tied for fourth in the Mid-South Conference for total blocks with 29. Pippin needs nine more blocks to move into 10th-place on the program's career blocks list.

Junior Luiza Goncalves is another Blue Raider on a milestone watch, needing 37 assists to crack the 1,000 threshold. Goncalves actively ranks second in the league for total assists and assists per set. She is coming off a career-best 56-assist performance against Shawnee State (Ohio) on Saturday.

Lindsey Wilson travels to Louisville at 6 p.m. on Thursday to take on Boyce (Ky.). The Bulldogs recently snapped a three-match losing streak to improve to 4-4 on the year. This will be the second all-time meeting between Boyce and the Blue Raiders after the two sides went head-to-head in Columbia last season.

On Friday, Oakland City (Ind.) comes to Biggers Sports Center for the first time in 24 years. The Mighty Oaks were in Owensboro this past weekend where they won three of their four matches in sweeps at the Brescia Bearcat Classic.

The week wraps at 11:30 a.m. CST on Saturday morning when Shawnee State comes to Columbia. Lindsey Wilson battled the Bears in Rio Grande last weekend, dropping a five-set decision.

Live coverage of Thursday's match at Boyce will be provided by the hosts, while Friday and Saturday's action is set to be streamed on the Lindsey Wilson Sports Network.
