COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team faces conference rival Campbellsville (Ky.) at 3 p.m. CST on Saturday, January 11 in the season's first edition of the "Battle of Highway 55."

The Blue Raiders look to bounce back after a tough loss Thursday night against No. 1-ranked Georgetown (Ky.). Kenyata Carbon, who averages 18.0 points a game, turned in a big performance after scoring 27 points against the Tigers. With the assistance of two other double-digit scorers, Julian Cunningham, who provides 16.3 points per game, and Daivel Jackson, who adds another 14.3, the Blue Raiders will be hungry to get their first win in the Mid-South Conference. 

Lindsey Wilson averages 85.6 points per game while shooting just below 50 percent and eyes a fast start to get a victory. The Blue Raiders, one of the top three-point shooting teams in the league, averaging 39.2 percent, present the Tigers with multiple reasons to tighten up their defense. With Lindsey Wilson holding opponents to just 39.8 percent from the field and having 8.4 steals a game, the men look to hound the Campbellsville offense in this intense rivalry game. 

The Tigers (8-8, 0-1 MSC) fell to Cumberlands (Ky.) 85-73 on Thursday. Top scorer Kam Vick leads the team with 17.5 points per game, and Dalton Kramer, Cobe Penny, and Jay Milburn also aim to hit their averages on the scoresheet.
