Columbia, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball looks to remain unbeaten at home as they face off against Washington Adventist on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Biggers Sports Center.
The Blue Raiders are 6-0 at home and are 11-3 overall and are led by a trio of double-digit scorers. Julian Cunnigham and
Kenyata Carbon lead the team, averaging 17.1 points per game, while
Daivel Jackson contributes another 14.2 points per game. Jackson leads the Mid-South Conference in field goal percentage at 69.7 percent, and sits at third in blocks per game with 1.5 he looks to be a force in the paint both offensively and defensively.
Defensively the Blue Raiders sit second in the MSC holding opponents to just 39.6 percent from the field as they look to give the Shocks a hard time to score the ball in the matchup.
The Blue Raiders are shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 39.8 percent from three while having three players in the top 10 in three-point percentage in the conference with
Barrett Burchyett shooting 44.8 percent,
Johrdon Mumford at 43.9 percent, and
Kenyata Carbon at 40.6 percent.
The Shock are 3-7 and are led by Rande Harper who is averaging 18.8 points per game and shoots 49.4 percent from the field. Chase Cooke averages 11.8 points per game while Anthony Perry averages 11.3 a game. Washington Adventist averages 70.4 points per game this season.
