1/31/2025 5:48:00 PM

COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team looks to rebound back at home against Bethel University (Tenn.) at 3 p.m. CT Saturday at Biggers Sports Center.

After a disappointing outcome against No. 17 Cumberlands, the Blue Raiders (14-7,2-4 Mid-South Conference) look to get back into the win column. On Jan. 23, Lindsey Wilson beat the Wildcats 80-73 with Connor Robinson scoring a season-high in points with 16. Julian Cunningham, Daivel Jackson, and Kenyata Carbon all look to repeat the same success as they were the trio to join Robinson in double figures.

Cunningham leads the Blue Raiders averaging 16.2 points per game while Carbon and Jackson also average double figures with 15.9 and 13.1, respectively. Jackson leads the team in rebounding averaging 7.6 per game while Carbon averages a team-best 4.2 assists per game.

Head Coach Chris Starks told his team that they need to come focused as they look to finish the season strong. He brings in his defense-first mindset where the Blue Raiders hold opponents to just 71.2 points per game, 41 percent from the field, and forcing 13.1 turnovers per game.

The Wildcats (13-8, 1-5 MSC) are coming off their first conference win against the Campbellsville Tigers and are looking to spoil the Blue Raiders return home after a three-game road trip. Junior guard Trevor Chatman, who averages 11.6 points per game is joined by David Starr and Ethan Turner as the team's three double-digit scorers, aiming to lead the Wildcats past the Blue Raiders.

Tip Off between the Blue Raiders and Wildcats is scheduled for 3 p.m CT Saturday at Biggers Sports Center.
