COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 22 Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team returns home to Ray Wells Field at Walter S. Reuling Stadium on Thursday, October 16, to host (RV) Tennessee Southern.

The Blue Raiders (5-4-2, 3-0-1 Mid-South Conference) look to extend their winning streak following a shutout victory over No. 20 Georgia Gwinnett on Sunday afternoon. NAIA Offensive Player of the Week Efua Asabel has been in top form, netting four goals in the last three matches to bring her season total to six. Lindsey Wilson has been dominant in possession, holding opponents to just 9.8 shots per game while averaging 14.8 themselves.

The Blue Raiders will look to maintain their defensive discipline and efficient attack as they aim for a third consecutive win. 

The visiting Firehawks (8-4-2, 5-2-1 Southern States Athletic Conference) enter with one of the more potent offenses in their league, averaging 2.79 goals per game while conceding 1.50. Tennessee Southern takes 17.6 shots per contest, limiting opponents to just 10.1. Individually, Kamilia Tayebi leads the Firehawk attack with eight goals this season, ranking 15th in the SSAC. 

The Blue Raiders aim to keep the tempo of the match on their side and limit Tennessee Southern's offensive rhythm.
