Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Blue Raiders defeated the Wildcats of Bethel (Tenn.) 3-1 on Senior Night at Ray Wells Field inside Walter S. Reuling Stadium. 

Juliano Manfro, Dominic Ayella, and Denilson Macon led the offensive brigade for Lindsey Wilson, all tallying a goal apiece. Boney Meney and Milan Diao headed the assist column, both garnering an assist in the match. 

Bethel opened up scoring in the first half in the 29th minute to lead the Blue Raiders 1-0 early. Manfro countered the Wildcat goal on an assist by Meney to tie the game at 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Less than three minutes later, Ayella finds his seventh goal of the season to give Lindsey Wilson a 2-1 advantage in the 35th minute. 

LWU outshot Bethel 11 to three for the first 45 minutes of action, registering five shots on goal compared to the Wildcats two. 17 fouls were called in the first half, alongside yellow cards being handed to Shugai Kaliisa and Ayella for the Blue Raiders as well as Horace Avila Jr. and Enock Owusu for Bethel. 

In the 66th minute, Ayella had a break away in the box to open the scoring in the second, but was called offside for what could have been their third goal of the match. Macon found the back of the net in the 89th minute on an assist from Diao, to extend the Lindsey Wilson lead to 3-1, ending a two game Mid-South Conference losing streak. 

The Blue Raiders outshot the Wildcats 21-13, registering nine shots on goal. 28 fouls were called in the competition, alongside nine yellow cards with Lindsey Wilson acquiring three. 

Men's soccer will be back in action on Saturday at 4 P.M. CT when they head to Henderson, Tennessee to face the Lions of Freed-Hardeman at the Josh Riley Soccer Complex.
