COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's cross country teams travel to  Knoxville, Tennessee to compete in the NAIA Appalachian Challenge at Sequoyah Park. 

The Blue Raider men are competing in the 8K race starting at 7:30 am CT, while the women's team will be racing in the 5K starting at 8:15 am CT.

The Blue Raider men's team is coming off an impressive showing at the Louisville Classic 8 K race in which they finished in eighth place. Freshman standout Dashawn Overly has been the top Blue Raider finisher in each race this fall. Overly finished 27th overall with a time of 26:53.5 in Louisville.

The Blue Raider women's team hopes to bounce back in this race after finishing 21st in the Louisville Classic 5 K race. They're led by Freshman runners Emma Kate Emerson and Arianna Payne, along with fifth-year Senior Zoe Wilson. Emerson finished in 86th place in Louisville, while Payne and Wilson finished 97th and 116th place, respectively.

The Blue Raiders compete in the 2025 NAIA Appalachian Challenge on Friday, October 24, at 7:30 am and 8:15 am.
