COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson junior guard Kenyata Carbon was named the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. 

The honor marks the third time in Carbon's career that he has received the weekly award and his first of the 2025-26 Blue Raider season. 

Carbon delivered an all-around performance in the Blue Raiders' 85-75 victory over Brescia (Ky.) on Sunday, leading the team with 20 points while adding six rebounds, three assists, five steals, and a block. The Owensboro, Kentucky native shot an efficient 46.2 percent from the field, helping Lindsey Wilson secure its first home win of the season. 

Behind Carbon's leadership, the Blue Raiders improved to 1-0 and set the tone early in their 2025–26 campaign. 

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday when they host Reinhardt (Ga.) inside Biggers Sports Center in Columbia, Kentucky.
