LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished 20th at the Louisville Cross Country Classic Saturday at E.P. "Tom Sawyer" State Park.

The Blue Raiders tallied 516 points in the women's 5K silver race and had an average time of 24:05.84 in the 23-team field. The field was comprised of NCAA DII, DIII and NAIA schools.

Emma Kate Emerson posted the best Lindsey Wilson finish with a time of 21:43.2, placing 86th. Ariana Payne had a season-best 5K time of 21:57.8, finishing in 97th. Zoe Wilson finished in 116th with a time of 22:30. Sancia Smith posted a career-best time of 26:42.9 to place 181st. Hannah Reid (27:35.3) and Cecilia Hiatt (27:39.6) round out the Blue Raiders, finishing in 187th and 188th, respectively.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Friday, October 24 for the NAIA Appalachian Challenge in Knoxville, Tenn.
