COLUMBIA, Ky.- Men's soccer fell to Ottawa (Kan.) 1-0 in the Second Round of the NAIA National Tournament Saturday night. 

Dominic Ayella totaled four shots on the night, registering two on goal to lead the Lindsey Wilson offense. 

In the 25th minute, Lindsey Wilson had its best opportunity to score as Ayella dribbled deep into the box, putting a shot on goal towards Braves' Goalie, David Martinez. 

Both Lindsey Wilson and Ottawa registered five shots in the first half, with Francois Djiba and Martinez tallying one save apiece. 

After a back-and-forth second half and physicality picking up, Ottawa's Jevan Purcell-Jackson found the back of the net in the 84th minute to edge the Blue Raiders. LWU had an opportunity in the 87th and 88th minute, both from Paseka Maile for an equalizer, but could not get past the hands of Martinez. 

Lindsey Wilson posted eight shots compared to Ottawa's nine, tallying only three shots on goal on the night with the Braves registering four. 

Tonight's match marked the end of the Blue Raider men's soccer 2025 season.
