PENSACOLA, Florida – The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team enters the Round of 16 in the NAIA National Championship to face sixth seeded Missouri Valley College on Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Field at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday, December 2.

The Blue Raiders (10-5-2), who entered the tournament with an at-large bid, advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating 11th seeded Southeastern (Fla.) 1-0 last weekend in the second round. Lindsey Wilson will look to keep their momentum going and continue playing as a unit as they take on Missouri Valley. Offensively, the Blue Raiders are led by Efua Asabel, who has scored 14 goals this season, and Ashiat Naluggwa, who has added nine. Defensively, the team has limited opponents to just 1.24 goals per game while maintaining a 1.15 shot percentage average. Lindsey Wilson's aggressive attack will aim to control possession and create scoring opportunities, averaging 14.7 shots per game.

The Vikings (17-0-4) enter the match riding an eight game winning streak after defeating Spring Arbor 2-1 in the second round. Missouri Valley features a high powered offense with two double digit scorers, Ashley Arribas with 14 goals and Judit Ferre with 12. The Vikings average 17.3 shots per game and bring plenty of experience into the matchup.

With both teams aiming to keep their championship hopes alive, fans can expect an exciting, high paced match filled with offensive action.
