COLUMBIA, Ky. – The senior duo of Luiza Gonçalves and Ola Wyrzykowska have been named 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) First-Team Southeast All-Region honorees, as chosen by the AVCA NAIA Selection Committee.

The pair helped Lindsey Wilson to a 29-11 record this past season and a spot in the NAIA National Tournament for the 13th time in program history.

Gonçalves, of Arapongas, Brazil, passed out a career-best 1,157 assists while also ranking second on the team for service aces (52), third for digs (270) and blocks (62), and fifth for kills (151). She recorded eight double-doubles of assists and digs, and notched a triple-double of 32 assists, 13 digs, and 10 kills against Reinhardt (Ga.) on October 18. The First-Team All-Mid-South Conference selection earned "Setter of the Week" status three times during the regular season en route to becoming the first Blue Raider to have 1,000 assists, 150 kills, 50 service aces, and 50 blocks in a single season.

Wyrzykowska, a now-two-time all-region recipient from Wegorzewo, Poland, was the primary catalyst for Lindsey Wilson's offense as she led the Mid-South with 517 kills behind a 0.233 hitting percentage. The outside hitter added 415 digs, 56 blocks, 54 aces, and 46 assists across 139 sets played, making her the second player in program history to post 500 kills, 400 digs, 50 aces, and 50 blocks in a single year, joining Tiffany Cloud in 2003. Wyrzykowska finished the season with 20 double-doubles of kills and digs, landing her on the All-Mid-South First-Team.

Each of the nine regions named 14 student-athletes to the All-Region team, and eight players earned honorable mention honors. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Assistant Coach of the Year were selected for each region.

Cumberlands (Ky.) earned three First-Team selections and three honorable mentions, as well as Player of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year distinctions. Cumberland (Tenn.) earned two First-Team honorees to round out the Mid-South's showing in the Southeast region.
