COLUMBIA, Ky.- Baseball laces up their cleats as they step onto the diamond for a single game, facing the Lions of Bryan College (Tenn.) at 1 p.m. CST on Senter Field.

Tuesday's game was originally scheduled to be the home opener for the Blue Raiders, however weather and field conditions forced the move to Bryan. 

The Blue Raiders (1-8) are back in Tennessee after falling in their double-header match-up to (RV) Milligan, 7-1 and 5-3. Matthew Schultz leads the Lindsey Wilson offense with 13 hits in 33 plate appearances, five RBIs, three home runs, and six runs scored. Andres Duran and Diego Andino both have contributed four RBIs and a combined eight doubles. Glenn Simes (1-2) leads the charge on the mound pitching 15.1 innings, facing 67 batters and only giving up 11 runs on 22 hits, 10 strikeouts, and three walks. 

Bryan College (4-6) is coming off a three-game series against Bluefield (Va.) where they went 2-1, winning the first two games 9-2, 7-6, and dropped the last game 8-5. The Lions have put up 43 runs in 10 games, with eight of those coming from home runs. Cade Cook leads the offense with 16 hits in 34 plate appearances, with a team-high 13 RBIs, and four homeruns. David Walker (2-0) has pitched 13 innings for the Lions, giving up zero runs on four hits, maintaining a 0.00 ERA, and 13 strikeouts. 

This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two programs, with Bryan leading the series 3-2. The last match-up occurred on March 13, 2024 where Lindsey Wilson fell 10-6 in Dayton, Tennessee. 

The first pitch will be thrown at 1 p.m. CST from the mound of Senter Field on the campus of Bryan College. Live stats will be available and live video will be provided by Bryan.
