COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team remained unbeaten in Mid-South Conference play with a 4-0 sweep over Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) on Wednesday afternoon at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

The Blue Raiders (10-3, 3-0 MSC) clinched the match behind a dominant singles performance, winning three straight-set matches after securing the doubles point.

Lindsey Wilson took the early 1-0 lead by winning two of the three doubles matches. Aldo Randazzo and Lucas Marques quickly dispatched Carlos Garcia and Nolan Laduree at No. 3 doubles, 6-2, before Jaume Barcelo and Marcal Miret (No. 39 in doubles) sealed the point with a 6-4 win over Pablo Poleo and Braden Young at No. 2.

The Lions (6-9, 0-3 MSC) took a close No. 1 doubles match, as Merlin Bolema and Maxime Guyon edged No. 13-ranked Santiago Passoni and Hans Schubert, 7-6 (4).

Lindsey Wilson quickly extended its lead as No. 50-ranked Barcelo dominated No. 3 singles, rolling past Poleo, 6-0, 6-1, to make it 2-0.

At No. 1 singles, Schubert put together a strong performance, defeating Bolema, 6-1, 6-4, to push the lead to 3-0.

No. 14-ranked Passoni then delivered the clinching point for the Blue Raiders with a commanding 6-2, 6-2 win over Guyon at No. 2 singles, sealing the 4-0 victory.

Lindsey Wilson continues its homestand on Friday, April 4, at 2 p.m. CT, when the Blue Raiders take on Milligan (Tenn.) at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
