BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team sits atop the leaderboard after the first day of the Mid-South Conference Championships Monday at Bowling Green Country Club. 

The Blue Raiders notched an 8-under par 568 (281-287) and lead Cumberlands (Ky.) by five shots heading into the final round. Lindsey Wilson leads the field in scoring on both par-3 and par-4 holes and ranks second in total birdies with 33, trailing only Cumberlands. The Blue Raiders were one of four teams to card an eagle. 

Individually, Johan Bredenkamp is tied for first with Cumberlands' Pedro Alonzo-Morgado with a 6-under par 138 (69-69). Rio Saigal (68-73) and Stanley White (71-70) are tied for fourth with a 141.

Adam Hawthorn is tied for 12th with a 148 (73-75), while Toby White stands tied for 17th after carding a 151 (76-75). 

The Blue Raiders will return to the course Tuesday morning for the final round of the MSC Championships at Bowling Green Country Club.
