ROCKY FACE, Ga. - The No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson men' golf team finished eighth at the Roadrunner Classic at The Farm on Tuesday.
All 12 teams competing in the field are ranked in the top 25 of the current NAIA Coaches' Poll. The Blue Raiders finished with a 42-over par 906 (300-297-309) on the par-72, 7,012-yard course. No. 3 Dalton State (Ga.) took home the team title with an 880 while No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) finished runner-up with an 884. Over the three rounds, Lindsey Wilson recorded 34 birdies and 161 pars.
Stanley White posted the best Blue Raider finish, tying for 12th with a 4-over par 220 (72-73-75). White finished the tournament carding eight birdies, with three coming in the final round.
Toby White finished tied for 26th with a 227 (74-75-78) and tied for the tournament lead in pars with 40.
Johan Bredenkamp finished tied for 33rd carding a 229 (73-76-80) while
Rio Saigal finished tied for 41st with a 232 (81-75-76).
James Gibb rounds out the Blue Raider scoring tying for 49th with a 235 (81-74-80).
Lindsey Wilson now begins preparations for the Mid-South Conference Championship taking place April 28-29 at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
