2024-25 Rewind Softball

Softball | 8/1/2025 11:00:00 AM

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Blue Raider softball team continued to make positive strides under head coach Callum Pilgrim during the 2025 season. Lindsey Wilson, again, improved its win percentage and recorded its highest batting average, hits, runs scored, and extra-base hits during Pilgrim's tenure. The team also won four of its six conference series after, including a dominant sweep of Cumberland (Tenn.) and an upset of Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.).

Despite their postseason being cut short by weather, the Blue Raiders did manage to eliminate "Highway 55" rival Campbellsville (Ky.) from the Mid-South tournament for the second consecutive year.

Eight individuals earned postseason honors from the conference, including the program's first Assistant Coach of the Year, Annabelle Ramirez-Sharber, and the second Gold Glove catcher, Katie Lorenz.

Kayden Murray and Hallie Roberts combined to garner five Pitcher of the Week awards. The latter of the two posted three complete-game shutouts with three or fewer hits, while Murray led the league in total strikeouts for the second year in a row, moving her into ninth all-time on the program's career strikeout list.

K'Asia Palmer and Grace Adams each saw an increase in wins and strikeouts from the 2024 season.

Offensively, Nora Epley led the conference with 18 doubles while batting a team-high 0.348. Sam Hartman produced a team-best 49 hits, eight home runs, and 43 RBIs, Kaiden Rodgers drove in 31 runs on 35 hits, and Brylee Pickerell paced the team in stolen bases to go along with 38 hits and 22 RBIs.
