COLUMBIA, Ky. – Coming off the first national championship in program history, the Lindsey Wilson men's golf team opens the 2025-26 season as the top team in the NAIA, national officials announced Friday with the release of the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Blue Raiders topped the poll with 473 points. Last season, Lindsey Wilson captured eight tournament wins, the Mid-South Conference Championship, the NAIA National Championship and set the program record for the lowest single-season scoring average.
Lindsey Wilson is joined in the top 25 by fellow MSC member Campbellsville (Ky.) who is slotted 22nd with 114 points. Cumberland (Tenn.) and Cumberlands (Ky.) are both mentioned in the receiving votes section with 23 and 19 points, respectively.
Oklahoma City is second in the poll with 459 points while Keiser (Fla.) sits in third with 445 points. Dalton State (Ga.) and MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) round out the top five with 423 and 412 points, respectively.
The Blue Raiders open the season on September 28 at the Pikeville Fall Invitational in Prestonburg, Kentucky.
