COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team travels to Decatur, Alabama to take on fifth-ranked William Carey (Miss.) at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Both teams enter the matchup riding momentum from recent wins. The Blue Raiders are coming off a commanding 5-0 victory over Union Commonwealth (Ky.), while the Crusaders earned a 2-1 win in their last outing against Louisiana Shreveport on Tuesday.

Lindsey Wilson's attack was on full display in their shutout performance, led by Ashiat Naluggwa, Vitória Loiola, and Alexandra Giusti, who each found the back of the net. The Blue Raiders registered 20 total shots, a level of offensive pressure they will look to replicate this weekend. In goal, freshman Demi Serman anchors the defense with eight saves on the season, averaging four per match.

William Carey provides an experienced squad highlighted by Lauren Entremont, who leads the team with six points and is tied for the team lead in goals with two. On the defensive side, goalkeeper Nerea Pallas Padilla has collected five saves so far, playing a key role in keeping opponents off the scoreboard.
