COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team returns home for a Mid-South Conference clash against Georgetown College (Ky.) on Ray Wells Field at Walter Reuling S. Stadium at 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday, September 16. 

The Blue Raiders (1-3-1) are coming off a draw against (RV) Grace College (Ind.) last Friday, 2-2 in an exciting finish. Lindsey Wilson will look to continue their aggressive play when hosting the Tigers. Both teams shoot at a high clip, with the Blue Raiders taking 12.2 shots per match and Georgetown with 9.2 shots per match. 

Efua Asabel has scored a goal in each of the last two matches, including one off an assist from Amanda Parreiras – who also scored the later equalizer – in Lindsey Wilson's draw with Grace. The Blue Raiders need to continue controlling possession to keep opponents out of the their end of the field, a strategy that has worked well all season.

The Tigers (3-2-1) are coming off a draw against Rio Grande (Ohio) last week. Offensively, they are led by Bekah Clark and Kali Settle, who each have two goals on the season. Georgetown's offense is responsible for nine goals this season while maintaining a 0.164 shooting percentage on 55 attempts. They average 1.50 goals per match and allow just 1.17 goals against, showing strong balance on both ends of the field. 

The Blue Raiders and Tigers open conference play at 5 p.m. CT Tuesday, September 16, on Ray Wells Field at Walter Reuling S. Stadium.
