VERSAILLES, Ky. -  In the second race of the season, the Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the 2025 Midway XC Invitational Friday at Falling Springs Park.
The Blue Raiders tallied 98 points in the 6K race to finish in fourth. Cumberland (Tenn.) finished first with 23 points while Georgetown (Ky.) posted a runner-up finish with 45.

 Freshman Arianna Payne posted the best Blue Raider finish coming in 17th with a time of  27:44.91. Payne was followed by fellow freshman Emma Kate Emerson, who finished in 18th place with a time of 27:54.37. Graduate senior Zoe Wilson placed 22nd in  29:30.83 while junior Sancia Smith came in 31st with a time of 34:49.91. Freshmen Cecilia Hiatt (35:14.55) and  Autumn Price (35:44.45) rounded out the Blue Raider finishers in 32nd and 34th, respectively. 

The Blue Raiders return to action at the Louisville Classic on Saturday, October 4th in Louisville, Kentucky.
