COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team travels northwest on Tuesday for a non-conference clash with Oakland City (Ind.).

The Blue Raiders are fresh off an upset of No. 10 Missouri Baptist in St. Louis on Saturday, while the Mighty Oaks have dropped their last three matches and seven of their last nine.

Oakland City, of the River States Athletic Conference, started the season 6-1 but have stumbled through its conference schedule. Junior Elleanor Stark leads the Oaks with 179 digs and ranks second for kills (108) and service aces (21).

Sophomore Eva Hammann, who hit for a team-high six kills when Oakland City visited Lindsey Wilson last season, is up to 129 kills so far this year. She has six matches of double-digit kills and two double-doubles.

Junior Libby Mehringer is the primary setter for the Mighty Oaks, averaging 5.61 assists per set.

Lindsey Wilson is currently top-10 in the nation in assists (7^th), kills (7^th), service aces (4^th), and block assists (9^th).  Luiza Gonçalves' 673 assists are sixth-most in the NAIA. Against the Mighty Oaks last season, Gonçalves finished with 40 assists, six digs, four aces, and three kills.

The Blue Raiders last played in Oakland City on September 25, 2007 – a 3-2 win for the Mighty Oaks. Lindsey Wilson's only win in Oakland City came on September 15, 2001.
