Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team fell 3-0 to Columbia (Mo.) on Friday night at Biggers Sports Center, dropping the three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-21.

Gabi Zuquelo paced the Blue Raiders offensively with nine kills and five digs, while Tully Bew added seven kills, six digs and three block assists. Natalie Wandrie contributed five kills and two block assists, and Dreu Patterson recorded three kills. Lindsey Wilson finished the match with 24 kills and 16 total block assists. Addison Janes distributed 14 assists, while Momo Hampton added nine assists and nine digs. Kennedy Moone finished with seven digs and two service aces, while Brooke Robinson added eight digs.

Columbia established control in the opening set, using its attack and service game to build an advantage. The Blue Raiders stayed within reach late in the frame, trailing 21-18, but the Cougars closed out the set 25-18 to take the early lead.

Lindsey Wilson found more opportunities in the second set, with Wandrie contributing several kills during a stretch that brought the Blue Raiders back into contention. Kennedy Moone added a service ace as Lindsey Wilson edged ahead 14-13. Columbia responded with a run of its own, however, pulling away late to win 25-19 and move within one set of the match.

The Blue Raiders put together their closest third-set finish. Zuquelo and Bew helped keep Lindsey Wilson in contention as the teams traded points through the middle stages. Lindsey Wilson remained within one point at 16-15 and 17-16, but Columbia created separation late. The Blue Raiders cut the deficit to 24-21 before the Cougars secured the final point for a 25-21 set win.

Lindsey Wilson returns to the court for a doubleheader in Midway, Kentucky, on Saturday, October 10, facing Indiana Kokomo at 2 p.m. CT before taking on Midway (Ky.) at 4 p.m. CT.
