COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson volleyball's Tessa Kilchenmann has been named the Mid-South Conference Defender of the Week for the first time in her career, conference officials announced Monday.

Kilchenmann anchored the Blue Raiders' defensive efforts across two matches, totaling 14 blocks while averaging 2.0 blocks per set. Her presence at the net helped hold opposing offenses to a combined .096 hitting percentage. She also contributed nine kills offensively, making an impact on both sides of the net.

Highlighting her week was a career-best performance against Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), where she recorded nine blocks. Her presence at the net played a key role in disrupting the opposing attack and strengthening the Blue Raiders' defensive effort.

Kilchenmann and the Blue Raiders return to action Tuesday, Nov. 3, hosting Georgetown (Ky.) at 7 p.m. CT in their final regular-season conference match.
