COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson baseball team starts a five-game series with Goshen (Ind.) beginning on Saturday at Egnew Park.

Saturday and Sunday are doubleheaders starting at noon CT at Egnew Park. The series wraps up on Monday with one game beginning at 2 p.m. CT. The Blue Raiders (2-5) are coming off two losses against Pikeville (Ky.) on Tuesday. The Maple Leafs (1-6) had a rough start to their season, starting 0-5 before winning their first game against Kentucky Christian last Saturday. 

Andres Duran is leading Lindsey Wilson in batting average (.389), while Keith Stewart leads the team in OPS (1.289), RBIs (7), home runs (2), and on-base percentage (.552). Jack Ballou leads the team with 13.0 innings pitched and 14 strikeouts. Sam Raper is turning into the go-to bullpen arm for Head Coach Ethan Utley. Raper has three appearances, 7-? innings pitched, and has a team-leading 3.52 earned run average. 

Troy Griffin leads the Maple Leafs in both batting average (.235) and hits (4). Dylan Pearson has started all seven games for Goshen, leading the Maple Leafs in RBIs (5) and slugging (.368). Pearson also leads Goshen in innings pitched (7.0) and strikeouts (6).
