COLUMBIA, Ky - Lindsey Wilson student-athlete
Olson Nicholson has been named to the 2026 Mid-South Conference men's basketball Champions of Character Team, league officials announced Thursday.
The graduate senior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earns Champions of Character recognition for the first time in his career and becomes the seventh different student-athlete in program history to garner the honor from the conference.
The Mid-South recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Bethel's (Tenn.) Brayden Nunnally, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Jay Milburn, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Triston Conger, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Kyler McLendon, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Jamarcus Powell, and Georgetown's (Ky.) Darien Lewis all earned the honor.
Olson and his Blue Raider teammates are in Bowling Green this weekend for the Mid-South Conference tournament. Lindsey Wilson faces Campbellsville (Ky.) at 2:30 p.m. CST on Saturday, February 28.
