COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson baseball team welcomes the No. 2-ranked Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies to town this weekend for a three-game series starting Saturday with a doubleheader scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. CT. 

Lindsey Wilson (6-5) is coming off a four-game series sweep over Goshen (Ind.), while the Grizzlies (14-1) are coming off a top-five victory over No. 5-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan. 

Leading the way for the Blue Raiders is Andres Duran. Duran leads the team in batting average (.520), OPS (1.599), home runs (2), runs batted in (9), and total bases (24). Caden Davis is another impactful bat for the Blue Raiders. Davis is batting .441, with an OPS of 1.118, while leading the team in hits with 15. Jack Ballou has an ERA of 3.68, collecting two wins, throwing 22.0 innings, and striking out 27 batters. Kyle Lambert and Sam Raper are the two bullpen arms with the most innings so far this season. Lambert has a team leading 3.38 earned run average, while holding opponents to a .267 batting average. Raper has thrown 9 ? innings over 4 appearances, while compiling a 4.66 earned run average. 

Georgia Gwinnett is led by Peyton Watts and Trey Smith. Watts leads the team in OPS (1.225), hits (20), and extra base hits (10), while having a batting average of .392 and 16 RBIs. Smith leads the Grizzlies in batting average (.400), hits (20), runs batted in (17), and doubles (7). Senior pitcher Gavin LeBlanc has compiled a 1.35 earned run average, a 3-0 record, 0.85 WHIP, and held opponents to a .141 batting average against. Carson Judd is the top reliever for the Grizzlies. Judd is 2-0, with a 0.90 ERA and a 0.80 WHIP. 

Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT with game two starting approximately 30-45 minutes following the completion of game one. Sunday's series finale is a 1:00 p.m. first pitch.
