BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson women's bowling bowed out of the Mid-South Conference tournament on Friday morning at Southern Lanes. The Blue Raiders met Union Commonwealth (Ky.) in the consolation bracket for a best-of-seven baker game series, falling 4-2.
The Bulldogs jumped to a 2-0 advantage by winning the first two games, 177-128 and 174-162, then Lindsey Wilson got one back and won the third game 230-194.
Union Commonwealth snuck ahead in the fourth by a ten-pin margin, 181-171.
In the fifth game, the Blue Raiders fought off elimination with a 179-124 win, but ultimately came up short in the sixth, 210-172.
While Lindsey Wilson's tournament run closes, the Blue Raiders conclude their season in the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic, February 14-15, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
