COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team defeated No. 17 Grace (Ind.) 6-1 on Tuesday at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
Lev Sholosh and
Lucas Marques defeated Benjamin Rahine and Mahefa Rakotomalala 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Facundo Grasso and
Miguel Mateo Larrea earned the doubles point for Lindsey Wilson with a 6-3 victory over Andreas Polichronopoulos and Manuel Marques at No. 2 doubles.
Aldo Randazzo and José David Tobar Sánchez won 6-4 at No. 3 doubles.
Larrea defeated Marques at No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-0 to give Lindsey Wilson a 2-1 lead. Sholosh made the lead 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Polichronopoulos in the top-seeded singles match. Grasso clinched the match for the Blue Raiders with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Rahine at No. 2.
Randazzo and Sanchez picked up victories at No. 6 and No. 4 singles while Grace earned a win at No. 5 singles.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on Monday, March 16 taking on No. 8 Cumberlands (Ky.) at 1 p.m. CT at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
