COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson baseball team takes on Cumberland (Tenn.) for a three-game Mid-South Conference series in Lebanon, Tennessee, at Ernest L. Stockton Field at Woody Hunt Stadium.

Game one of the series takes place on Friday at 2 p.m. CT. The two teams close out the series on Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. CT. 

The Blue Raiders enter play with a record of 9-15 and a 1-2 record in the MSC. The Phoenix enter Friday with a record of 12-14 overall and are 0-3 in conference, while currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak. This will be the Blue Raiders' first conference road series this season. 

Leading Lindsey Wilson is Andres Duran, Orion Hahm-Taklander, and Caden Davis. Duran leads the team in OPS (1.123) and RBIs (17), while being tied for the lead in home runs (4) and doubles (7). Hahm-Taklander leads the Blue Raiders with a .379 batting average, while boasting a 1.030 OPS and 14 RBIs. Davis has been a steady leadoff hitter for Coach Utley this season, batting .350 and leading the team with 28 hits. Easton Talley has been the ace of the Blue Raider staff this season. Talley holds a 4.50 ERA with 26 strikeouts. 

Leading the Phoenix are Gaines Haussin and Dylan LaRue. Haussin leads Cumberland in batting average (.424), while having an OPS of 1.133. LaRue is batting .408 and leads the team with a 1.296 OPS and 28 runs batted in. Carter Whitfield leads the Phoenix with a 2.19 ERA over his 24.2 innings pitched, while striking out 31 batters in his four starts and two appearances out of the bullpen.

Game one begins Friday at 2:00 p.m. CT, followed by games two and three on Saturday, starting at 11:00 a.m. CT at Ernest L. Stockton Field at Woody Hunt Stadium.
