CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team defeated Campbellsville (Ky.) 6-1 in a Mid-South Conference matchup on Friday at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
With the victory, the Blue Raiders improve to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the MSC.
Lev Sholosh and
Facundo Grasso defeated Noah Grossman and Marco Hoerl 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. Campbellsville rallied picking up a 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles and a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles to take a 1-0 lead.
Grasso tied the match with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Juan Ochoa at No. 2 singles.
Lev Sholosh gave the Blue Raiders a 2-1 lead with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles over Alex Martin.
Miguel Mateo Larrea won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Raul Safont clinched the match for Lindsey Wilson with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Mariano Orsini at No. 4 singles.
Aldo Randazzo won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 6 singles while
Lucas Marques captured a 2-6, 61-, 7-6 (7-4) victory at No. 5 singles.
The Blue Raiders return to action for a top-five matchup on March 13 in Athens, Tennessee taking on No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan
