OLD HICKORY, Tenn. - The No. 14-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's golf team finished fifth at the Music City Classic on Tuesday at Hermitage Golf Course.
The Blue Raiders carded a 7-under-par 857 (282-288-287) on the par-72, 6,992-yard course. No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) took home the team title with an 833. No. 4 Webber International (Fla.) finished second with an 837. Lindsey Wilson finished the tournament -10 on par 5s over the three rounds. The Blue Raiders carded the fourth-most birdies over the three rounds with 52.
Philip Kittoff Jr. finished tied for 12th with a 4-under-par 212 (68-72-72). Kittoff Jr. finished -5 on par 5s and carded 11 birdies.
Polakrit Pawichai tied for 22nd with a 214 (71-75-68). Pawichai recorded 12 birdies in his three rounds.
Callum Waugh (71-70-76) and
Stanley White (72-72-73) finished tied for 37th with 217. Waugh tied for the 10th-most pars in the tournament with 37.
James Gibb finished tied for 59th with a 221 (73-74-74).
The Blue Raiders now begin preparations for the Mid-South Conference Championship taking place on April 27-28 at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
