BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The top-seeded Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team captured the 2026 Mid-South Conference Tournament title on Sunday with a 4-0 victory over No. 2 seed Cumberlands (Ky.) at the Warren County Tennis Facility.
With the victory, the Blue Raiders capture their 19th tournament title and second straight. Lindsey Wilson earns the MSC's automatic bid into the NAIA National Championship beginning May 12 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.
Manuel Fernandez Guede and Kesia Roi defeated
Miguel Mateo Larrea and
Facundo Grasso 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Lucas Marques and
Lev Sholosh (No. 18-ranked doubles in NAIA) evened up doubles with a 6-4 victory over Jacopo Cianfarini and Mohammed Abuzed in the top-seeded singles match.
Aldo Randazzo and
Raul Safont earned the doubles point for the Blue Raiders with a 7-6 win against Darius Kuster and Gabriele Solda (No. 7 in NAIA) at No. 3.
Safont increased the Lindsey Wilson lead to 2-0 with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Abuzed at No. 4 singles. Larrea (No. 49) pushed the Blue Raider advantage to 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory in the third-seeded singles match over Solda. Grasso (No. 25) clinched the championship for Lindsey Wilson with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Kuster at No. 2.
The NAIA National Tournament field is scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, April 28 on the NAIA website.
