COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson student-athlete
Orion Hahm-Taklender has been named to the 2026 Mid-South Conference baseball Champions of Character Team, officials announced Wednesday.
Hahm-Taklender, a junior from West Hills, California, collects Champions of Character recognition for the first time in his career.
The Mid-South recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Bethel's (Tenn.) Matthew Reynolds, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Tristin Crusenberry, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Dylan LaRue, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Cole Reynolds, Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Dean Bechman, and Georgetown's (Ky.) Davis Johnson earned the honor.
Hahm-Taklender and his Blue Raider teammates begin their postseason run on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT against Cumberland (Tenn.) at Bowling Green Ball Park.
