BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The fourth-seeded Lindsey Wilson baseball team's Mid-South Conference Tournament run came to an end on Thursday with a 5-3 loss to No. 6 seed Bethel (Tenn.) at Bowling Green Ballpark.

With the loss, the Blue Raiders close out their season with a 19-29 record. Lindsey Wilson finished the 2026 season going 9-9 in MSC play.

Orion Hahm-Taklender led the Blue Raider offense, going 3-for-5, with all three hits coming in his final three at-bats. Andres Duran and Isaac Samano each recorded two hits, while Duran recorded two RBIs. Bryce Sidler drove in the other run for Lindsey Wilson. Jacob Jackson got the start, going 3-1/3, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits with two walks and one strikeout. Brenden Bratcher, Gannon Herring, and Sam Raper also pitched in relief.

Bethel struck first in the top of the first. Following an error and a walk to begin the inning, Adriel Vega got down a sacrifice bunt that advanced the runners to second and third. Juan Diego Ramos then drove in the runs with a single to left to make it 2-0. The Blue Raiders got on the board in the home half of the third when Duran was walked with the bases loaded to make it 2-1.

The Wildcats increased their lead to 3-1 on an RBI single from Galvin Sims in the fourth. Bethel added a run in the fifth on a Zayden McCaslin groundout, making it 4-1. Hahm-Taklender led off the bottom of the fifth with a triple to right center and scored on a Sidler sacrifice fly to make it 4-2. Bethel scored its final run in the sixth on a wild pitch to take a 5-2 advantage.

In the eighth, the Blue Raiders got their first two runners on. Matt Ray entered the game out of the Wildcats bullpen and retired the next three Lindsey Wilson batters, ending the threat. Hahm-Taklender led off the ninth with a double down the left field line. He later advanced to third with one out on a wild pitch. Duran then drove in Hahm-Taklender making it 5-3.
