COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team was chosen to place fifth in this year's preseason coaches poll. The Blue Raiders finished last season in fifth-place at the Mid-South Conference Championship. 

Cumberlands (Ky,) has been selected to repeat as champions, earning six first-place votes. Bethel (Tenn.) came in second place according to the coaches, notching 26 points. Cumberland (Tenn.) was given a first-place vote and 24 total points bringing them into third-place. Campbellsville (Ky.) is predicted to finish fourth following up last year's fourth-place finish at the Mid South Conference Championship. Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) came in sixth place (10 pts). Georgetown College received nine points placing them in seventh. 

The Blue Raider men's cross country team will be in action this month on Aug. 28 for the Eagle Opener Exhibition at Asbury University in Wilmore, Ky.
