COLUMBIA, Ky. – Senior libero Momo Hampton continued to anchor Lindsey Wilson's defense throughout a three-match week, earning her first Mid-South Conference Defender of the Week honor this season, the league announced Monday.

Hampton averaged 4.7 digs per set and led the Blue Raiders with 56 digs across three matches. She recorded at least 17 digs in each match, including 20 digs in Lindsey Wilson's four-set victory over Tennessee Southern.

Hampton also contributed 17 assists and one service ace during the week.

The senior currently leads the Mid-South Conference with 303 total digs and a 4.73 digs-per-set average. Her 303 digs also rank third in the nation in total digs, placing Hampton among the country's top defensive players early in the 2026 season.

Hampton and the Blue Raiders return to action at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday, Sept. 15, against No. 10 Cumberlands (Ky.) in Williamsburg, Ky.
