COLUMBIA Ky. - The No. 10 Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team hit the road to face Mid-South Conference opponent Bethel (Tenn.) at 7:30 p.m. CT Thursday, Sept. 16, at Walter Bulter Stadium. 

The Blue Raiders (4-2-0, 1-0-0 MSC) are coming off a huge win, beating No. 6-ranked West Virginia Tech on Monday 5-0. Juliano Manfro leads the team in goals scored with three and is tied with Denilson Macon in assists with two.  

Zahir Garcia continues to command the defense as Lindsey Wilson's goalkeeper. He was named the Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday morning and against West Virginia Tech, he added seven saves and a clean sheet to his season total. Garcia is up to 38 saves, and two clean sheets recorded this season. 

The Wildcats (1-3-1, 0-1-0 MSC) are coming off a 3-1 loss on Saturday to Cumberland (Tenn.). Bethel has only three goals scored this season, all by different players. Serzhan Anthony has the only assist for the Wildcats. Samuel Moreno has started the last three matches for the Wildcats at goalkeeper. He has given up 7 goals on 13 shots faced. 

Last time these two teams met was in the 2025 Mid-South Conference Tournament Semifinals where the Blue Raiders would lose 3-0. Bethel would end up winning the tournament and make it to the Round of 16 in the NAIA tournament before losing to eventual national champion Grand View (Iowa).
