COLUMBIA, KY – The Lindsey Wilson volleyball teams return to Biggers Sports Center for a two-day home slate, with the junior varsity and varsity squads facing Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively, on Friday, September 25, before taking on Bethel (Tenn.) at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, September 26.

The Lindsey Wilson junior varsity team enters the weekend with a 3-3 record after earning a 3-1 victory over Midway (Ky.) in its most recent home contest. Freed-Hardeman's junior varsity team is 0-1 and will play its second match of the season on Friday. 

Freed-Hardeman's varsity team comes to Columbia with an 8-8 record. Lindsey Wilson has won 13 consecutive meetings against the Lady Lions and owns a 6-1 record against Freed-Hardeman at Biggers Sports Center. The programs last met on November 1, 2025, when the Blue Raiders recorded a 3-0 victory. Teodora Dacic has produced 156 kills this season, while Marija Cabadaj and Olivia Saint have added 124 and 123, respectively. Becca Heineman has 294 assists to direct the Lady Lions' offense, with Alyssa Austin contributing 265. Marija Milic has 36 blocks at the net, followed by Allie Lowhorn with 25. In the back row, Hanaé Bezerga has collected 181 digs, while Heineman has 111.

Bethel enters Saturday's varsity matchup with a 1-8 overall record and a 0-1 mark in conference play. The Wildcats will meet Campbellsville (Ky.) at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, before facing Lindsey Wilson the following afternoon. The Blue Raiders are 11-1 against Bethel at home and have not dropped a match to the Wildcats since 2023. Camila Sandoval has compiled 114 assists, while Kennedi Morrison and Emma Fistarol have recorded 77 and 61 kills, respectively. Clara Sestini has accumulated 86 digs, with Sara Ulrich also contributing defensively. Somaia Jones and Sania Reaves have registered 13 and 11 blocks, respectively.

The Blue Raiders enter the weekend after a 3-1 victory over Rio Grande (Ohio) on Tuesday, September 22. Lindsey Wilson finished the match with 55 kills, a .221 hitting percentage and 62 digs. Gabi Zuquelo provided 14 kills, while Luisina Sandrone Tais added 11 and Tully Bew finished with eight. Sofija Pjevic, Parker Sutherland and Natalie Wandrie each recorded six kills, while Rachel Kilchenmann and Addison Janes combined for 39 assists.

Pjevic also contributed four blocks, with Bew and Sutherland each adding three. Momo Hampton collected 15 digs and seven assists, while Janes posted 10 digs. Kennedy Moone and Kilchenmann each finished with nine digs. Hampton enters the weekend ranked fourth nationally with 331 total digs this season.

The two-day schedule brings four home matches across Lindsey Wilson's junior varsity and varsity programs, with the first contest set for 5 p.m. CT on Friday, September 25, at Biggers Sports Center. Saturday's slate begins at 1 p.m. CT with the junior varsity match against Bethel, followed by the varsity matchup at 3 p.m. CT.
