As a Sophomore: Played in 26 games this season … Averaged seven minutes per game and 2.6 points per game … Giergen shot .462 percent on the season and compiled four blocks, three steals and nine assists … Had season high 11 points against Ohio State – Mansfield on November 10, 2012.

Towson University: Appeared in 27 games as a Freshman…Averaged 10.5 minutes per game, 1.2 points per game and 1.1 rebounds per game...Earned Academic Colonial Athletic Association honors.
