High School: Led Adair County High School to the Kentucky State Tournament as a senior and sophomore…As a sophomore in 2007 Ballou averaged 15.1 points per game and 6.7 rebounds to lead Adair to the second round of the state tournament where it finished 24-10…As a senior he averaged 19.1 points and 10.4 rebound per contest as Adair lost in the first round of the state tournament to finish 26-8…Named to the 2007 King of the Bluegrass All-Tournament Team…Named to the 2009 Kentucky High School All-Star Team…Named to the Louisville Courier Journal First Team All-State team.
