Columbia, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team scored one minute into the match against Mid-South foe Lambuth (Tenn.) University and never looked back en route to a 10-1 win Monday night at Lindsey Wilson Park.

Blue Raider junior midfielder Rowena Alsanea scored her first of two goals on the evening off a Jodi-Ann McGregor pass at the one minute mark to give Lindsey Wilson (9-2-1, 3-0-0 in the Mid-South Conference) the quick 1-0 lead.
Lambuth (8-3-2, 1-2-0 in the MSC) tied the score at 1-1 at the 21:25 mark with a goal from midfielder Lyndsey Staunton.

No. 3-ranked Lindsey Wilson countered minutes later with goals from sophomore midfielder Maija Suni, who scored two goals in the match, at 23:05 mark and Jodi-Ann McGregor at 23:36 mark to take the 3-1 lead.

Blue Raider freshman forward Daniela Schwarz recorded a hat-trick with three goals to take a team-leading ten goals on the season. Lindsey Wilson also added two goals via own goals.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore goalkeeper Krystal Jackson made no saves in earning the victory.

The Blue Raiders out-shot the Eagles 19-2 in the match.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CT, on Thursday, October 13, as they travel to play Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina.
